 "Staugebühr" in Stockholm. ADAC: nur Fahrzeuge mit schwedischem Kennzeichen betroffen.
In der schwedischen Hauptstadt Stockholm wird vom 3. Januar 2006 bis 31. Juli 2006 probeweise eine Straßengebühr eingeführt. Laut ADAC soll durch den Probelauf festgestellt werden, ob sich die Luftverschmutzung und das Verkehrsaufkommen somit verringern lassen, da parallel der öffentliche Nahverkehr ausgebaut wird.
 Die so genannte Staugebühr gilt nur für Fahrzeuge mit schwedischem Kennzeichen. Sie wird von Montag bis Freitag jeweils von 6.30 Uhr bis 18.30 Uhr sowohl bei der Ein- und Ausfahrt an 18 Kontrollstellen in der Innenstadt elektronisch erhoben. Bezahlt wird jedoch nicht unmittelbar, sondern nachträglich – beispiels-weise an Banken oder Kiosken.
Die Höhe der Gebühr ist nach Uhrzeit gestaffelt und beträgt zwischen einem und zwei Euro, der Höchstbetrag liegt pro Tag und Fahrzeug bei sechs Euro. Frei befahrbar wird weiterhin die Transitverbindung E 4 sein.
